Advancing Academic Development Events

From 2018 to 2021, Advancing Academic Development Events were held in Australia to provide an opportunity for academic developers to network, share, and shape good practice.

The events featured keynote speakers, finalist's presentations on innovative academic development practice and active workshops for academic developers.

They enabled academic developers to:

  • Be inspired by internationally recognised key note speakers,

  • Gain insights into distinctive, innovative and exemplary practices presented by finalists in the Global Academic Development Advancement Awards as Pecha Kucha-style showcases.

  • Participate in choosing the people’s choice award, adjudicated live at the event.

  • Engage in professional development through active workshops on leadership, scholarship, and good practice with peers from across the sector

  • Connect and network with peers from across the sector.

The Advancing Academic Development Event were supported by a CAULLT grant. Thanks to this generosity, there was no registration cost for delegate/s.
